April 12, Saturday  Beyond The Pale members Gordon & Christy McLeod were winners in the Red River Radio Americana Music Festival Songwriter's Contest. Gordon McLeod won First Place for his orginal song "Dog Year" and Christy McLeod's "The Music Plays Me" (the title track from Beyond The Pale's latest CD) won Honorable Mention. Gordon will be performing some of his solo work at the Americana Music Festival in Nacogdoches, Texas on April12 Saturday, along with music headliners The Gourds and David Olney. Fri Sat & Sun, June 6th, 7th  and 8th, Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games, UT Arlington Stadium, Arlington Texas, Beyond The Pale will be back for our 10th year at the biggest Scottish festival around, along with many other wonderful entertainers like Brian McNiell, Ed Miller, John Taylor, and many more. Sat June 28,  Bergfeld Park, Tyler Texas, Beyond The Pale performs in an outdoor evening concert, Randy Brown opens at 6 pm—FREE ADMISSION! The Park is located at Broadway and Fifth Street in Tyler.

Sat July 26 , Beggars Banquet Concert Series, Garland, Texas, near Jupiter Road and Arapaho. This is a local concert series hosted by Craig Bernhadt and Lee Wauters.

September 27 Saturday  Beyond The Pale at Lawton, Okla. International

Festival, 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. This is a free multicultural festival from Friday thru Sunday with lots of great music, dance and food from many cultures. www.cityoflawton.ok.us
